Impro’s new Sales Director

As one of Africa’s key providers of complete access control solutions, Impro Technologies continues to drive innovation and out-of-the-box thinking. One of the company’s primary goals in the next two years is to substantially increase its footprint in Africa. To facilitate this, the company recently appointed well-known industry personality – Tim Timmins – as its sales director.

Tim typifies the can-do attitude inherent in the Impro management team and his vast experience in the security and life-safety systems will help to develop, grow and strengthen Impro’s penetration into the African and global markets.

Tim’s theoretical knowledge is balanced with practical experience in system design, business development and sales across the consultancy, distribution and contracting market segments.

“My personal business philosophy is to create positive employee and customer relationships that result in a integrity-centred and trusting relationship,” said Timmins.

“My focus is on creating win-win scenarios with our partners whereby if they are successful, we are successful. Through mutual respect and our support in terms of knowledge sharing and upskilling, along with solutions that meet specific market needs, we will achieve maximised results.”

Tim will leverage his skills and his ability to motivate and build high-performing teams, to generate a customer-centric environment, personified by complete end user satisfaction. In his role he intends to make an impact on the growth of the company and the enhancement of the brand image by promoting the exciting road map for the company’s software and hardware product portfolio.

Tim’s results-orientation and his ability to manage change through exploration place him in a position to devise application-focused solutions that take the requirements and wishes of the end user into consideration, for optimised security.
